Entity Onboarding

This release adds Entity Onboarding to PCE. Partners and platforms can onboard businesses to Accept Payments through an API workflow in their own applications.

Onboard businesses through PCE

Create a business and provide its legal details, owners and signatories, bank accounts, locations, and documents. Select the Accept Payments service and its supported features as part of the onboarding workflow.

See what the business still needs

PCE identifies missing information and documents as you build the business. Your application can show what remains, so partners can collect the required details before the service moves to review.

Track progress toward accepting payments

Read the business to check the Accept Payments service status as it moves through requirements, review, and a decision. This gives partners a way to follow each application and respond when more information is needed.

Entity Onboarding lets partners manage merchant onboarding within the experience they provide to their customers, from collecting business information through tracking approval. Once the service is approved and enabled, the business can begin accepting card payments.
